About Neale

 

Neale Thomas was born in 1969, in Liverpool, England. He went to school at St. Mary’s College in Great Crosby, then took a two year Art and Design foundation course at Hugh Baird College, Liverpool. Neale gained a BA (Hons) in Illustration at Kingston Polytechnic, London. Neale also has an Art & Design PGCE from the Institute of Education, University of London.

Neale Thomas worked as a freelance illustrator for almost 20 years and his work appeared in numerous magazines and national newspapers. Since  2010, he has been painting the golden era of motor racing. Neale has been a participant of the Goodwood Revival since 2010 and has exhibited his work in the Revival Market since 2011. Other annual shows and permanent venues in the UK over the years have included the Silverstone Classic, Race Retro and the Brooklands Museum. Neale has also exhibited at smaller one-off events and meetings in Sweden.

Neale now lives in Sweden with his wife and four children. He divides his time between his home in Stockholm and his summer house in Hälsingland, and also frequently travels to England.
